A special Mother’s Day morning tea service 2022
- 9 May 2022

Our community gathered at Bunurong Memorial Park to honour our special mothers during a Mother’s Day morning tea service on Saturday, 7 May. It was a very special occasion as we last gathered in person at Bunurong Memorial Park in 2018. Reflecting on the wisdom of mothers and mother figures, families created words of wisdom tributes, lit candles and shared a morning tea with others, and hearing from three women talk about the roles and relationships of mothers and mother figures.
We sincerely thank our speakers for their insight and SMCT team members for making this event a memorable one for the community members that attended.
