Father's Day Remembrance Service 2019

Father's Day

Our Father’s Day Remembrance Service on Thursday 29 August was attended by more than 200 members of our community at Bunurong Memorial ParkExternal site as we honoured the fathers and father figures in our lives who are no longer with us.

The service included a photo montage of loved ones along with hanging a personal note of ‘Thoughts and Wishes’ and the lighting of a candle in remembrance of each father.

Following the service, community members connected over delicious food provided by our wonderful Café Vita et floresExternal site.

We sincerely thank our event partner, Templeton Family Funerals, as well as our team at Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust for making this event so memorable for our community.
