National Miscarriage Awareness Day is recognised annually on the first Sunday in May and is a remembrance day for anyone who has been impacted by miscarriage and early pregnancy loss.
This year we warmly invite you to join us to acknowledge National Miscarriage Awareness Day at a remembrance service, followed by the formal opening of Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust's highly anticipated miscarriage/early pregnancy loss memorial garden at Bunurong Memorial Park.
Date: Sunday 4 May 2025
Proceedings: Arrival from 10.45am
11.00am - 12.30pm: Remembrance Service.
12.30pm - 1.30pm: Formal opening of the Memorial Garden with refreshments.
Venue: The service will be held in The Sanctuary at Bunurong Memorial Park, and guests will proceed to the formal opening of the memorial garden, following the service.

Designed in collaboration with MISS and community, the garden will be a place to honour enduring love and remembrance for those who have experienced miscarriage and early pregnancy loss.
