Red Nose Melbourne Walk to Remember

Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust is proudly supporting Red Nose by hosting this year's special Walk to Remember at Bunurong Memorial Park.

We gather to remember our precious babies and children, by taking the “steps” they never got to take.

Everyone is invited - all bereaved families in our community, and their loved ones - so register now, to find connection with other bereaved parents, families, and friends.

The Walk to Remember is a relaxed, family-friendly event that includes:

• Remembrance service with readings and reflections from local bereaved families

• Live music

• Pinwheel Ceremony to share a time of reflection and remembrance

• The symbolic Walk to Remember - a short loop around the lake 

• Time for connection over coffee and a light lunch after the walk

• Facepainting for the kids and a craft table.

• And possibly goats!

Please be aware that a photographer will be present on the day. You will have the opportunity to inform them on the day if you do not wish to be photographed.

What to bring?

• Picnic blanket 

• Sunscreen & hats

• Water bottle

Families attending with children:

Please note parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event, as childcare will not be provided on the day.
