Planned Construction Works: Springvale Cemetery

Pedestrian access to The Rise and The Quay from the carparks on Sixth Avenue are via a track between fencing of the construction areas. Pedestrian access is also available from North Drive to First Drive via a similar access track.
H. Matthews Road Closure
There will be temporary closure to a section of road on Eighth Avenue, between Fifth Road and Sixth Road, commencing Monday 10th August. The road will only be closed during loading and removal of soil and during delivery and placement of new soil at H Matthews. The work is expected to be completed over 4 to 6 weeks.
Garden of No Distant Place
Works are currently underway in the Garden of No Distant Place and it will remain accessible, with no changes to existing memorial locations or Book of Remembrance entries.
Reflections
Works are currently underway in Reflections. Access to memorials in the Reflections area will be restricted for short periods during works. If you need to visit this area, please call 1300 466 904, email enquiries@smct.org.au, or visit reception to arrange access.
Patron and staff safety is our priority, and access will be restored as soon as possible.
